The box gathers four of the playwright Henrik Ibsen’s (1828-1906) plays: Ghosts (1881), An Enemy of the People (1882), Hedda Gabler (1890), The Master Builder (1892). The texts of permanent vigor, translated from Norwegian by Leonardo Pinto Silva, integrate the repertoire of theater companies from around the world and contributed to the author becoming the most staged in the world after William Shakespeare. The graphic design of the edition evokes a bare stage in the black box, and each volume has received a brightly colored spray, alluding to the impact of the modernity of Ibsen’s works. In the texts, some lines are highlighted in large letters, as a reminder of moments of lights focused on an actor in the limelight.
